GOALS

Design a series graphic with the focal point of a lion.

PROCESS

Sketched a couple ideas and decided on a large, face on perspective. By the time the design was finished up, the client was so happy with it they wanted to have shirts made to sell to the attendees for merchandise. I gave them a variety of colors options and we discussed shirt color options.

SOLUTION

Since the design was never meant to be made into a shirt, I worked very closely with the printer to find the best way to get the screen print to be as close to the original as possible. We decided on a black and white color scheme on a heather grey shirt. I added the text below in the final design to make it more relatable to the series. For one of the more challenging print pieces, the final end product turned out great and was very well executed.
